League Standings Tighten Up After Weekend Play

The BMO Western Hurricane continued their winning ways over this past weekend to open an eleven point lead over second place ACCEL Hawks; but, the competition below them is tightening up as all teams vie for play-off positioning.

The ACCEL Hawks are in a battle for second with the surging Bedford Barons and Kings Mutual Wildcats moving within one and two points respectfully of the Hawks and the Bubba Rays Gulls only out by three.  At the other end of the spectrum, the revitalized Truro Bearcats, the Scotsburn Crushers and the MCK Ice Dawgs are trying to avoid the league doghouse and are within one point of each other.  Things could get interesting down the final stretch as all teams get themselves ready for the playoffs.
